Open-enrolment & In-house

Open-enrolment and in-house training

Two formats, the same educational standard. Open-enrolment (inter-company) to compare practices between manufacturers, in-house (intra-company) to anchor the training in your products, your QMS and your challenges.

Open-enrolment or in-house: how to choose

Criterion Open-enrolment In-house
VenueDedicated room in Montpellier or online (virtual classroom)Your premises, or a room rented near your site
Participants4 to 12 people from different companies4 to 12 people from your company
CustomisationStandard programme, generic examplesProgramme tailored to your devices, your QMS, your cases
ExchangesComparing practices between manufacturersTeam cohesion, shared internal language
ConfidentialityNo internal cases disclosedInternal cases usable without restriction
Unit priceMore economical for 1 to 3 peopleMore economical above 4 people
ScheduleScheduled sessions (catalogue)At your convenience
Lead time10 working days before the session4 to 10 weeks depending on scope

If you are training 1 to 3 people occasionally, open-enrolment is generally more appropriate. If you are training a whole team or if you need the training to deal explicitly with your products and your QMS, in-house is the right choice.

Venue

Training room in Montpellier (city centre, accessible by public transport). Capacity: up to 12 participants. Wifi, video projection, flip chart, coffee area.

Remote format

Some open-enrolment sessions are also offered as a virtual classroom (Zoom or equivalent). Same durations, same content. Suited to geographically distant manufacturers or to scheduling constraints.

In-house training — how it works

  1. week 1 to 2
    Phase 1 — Scoping

Initial discussion with the training manager or sponsor. Identification of specific objectives, audience and starting level. Gathering of constraints (devices concerned, existing QMS, project schedule). Quote and training agreement.

  2. week 2 to 6
    Phase 2 — Adaptation

Adaptation of the programme to the client context. Integration of internal cases (with the client's agreement): an actual device, an actual technical file, a recent audit. Preparation of customised materials (logos, examples, internal terminology). Validation of the adapted programme before the session.

  3. week 6 to 10
    Phase 3 — Delivery

Training at the client's premises or in a rented room. Delivered by Thomas Trullen or Jonathan Bedin. Sign-in sheets, materials, lunches as per agreement. Option to split into half-days spread over several weeks.

  4. post-training
    Phase 4 — Follow-up

Individual certificates. Educational summary sent to the sponsor. Follow-up evaluation at 3 months. Dedicated email hotline for 60 days for participants' questions.

Venue: your premises (if a suitable room is available) or a rented room nearby. Option to organise in Montpellier if your teams can travel ("relocated in-house" formula).

Customising in-house training: what is possible, and what is not

Possible

  • Adaptation of the programme to your starting level and your specific challenges
  • Integration of your devices, technical files and recent audits as practical cases
  • Adding or removing modules according to your priorities
  • Adapting the duration (1 to 3 days depending on scope)
  • Split format (half-days spread out) if operationally constrained
  • Training materials in your company's colours and logos
  • Pre-assessment of skills to calibrate the level

Non-negotiable

  • Adherence to the learning objectives stated on the course factsheet
  • The published outcome indicators (success rate, satisfaction)
  • The final assessment and the success thresholds (Qualiopi commitment)
  • Compliant sign-in and certificates
  • Ethics: we do not validate a skill that has not been acquired, even under pressure from the sponsor

Customisation applies to the context and the examples, not to the level of rigour. A Qualiopi-compliant course keeps its standards.

Pricing and funding

Open-enrolment: price per participant, indicated on each course factsheet. Registration from one person, session confirmed from 4 registrations.

In-house: flat daily rate, up to 12 participants included. Above 12 (a rare case), we discuss an adapted format.

In-house ancillary costs: the trainer's travel, accommodation and meals billed at cost against receipts if the training takes place outside the Occitanie region. Detailed in the quote.

Funding

  • OPCO (depending on your professional sector)
  • The company's skills development plan
  • CPF: not applicable to these specialised professional courses
  • Company self-funding

ISOFAC GROUP is in the process of obtaining Qualiopi certification (number to be inserted once obtained). The certification allows your OPCO to cover all or part of the training cost.

Frequently asked questions

A minimum of 10 working days before the session to allow the invitation, the positioning quiz and the agreement to be sent. Beyond 10 working days, we can review late registrations on a case-by-case basis.
Yes, in France and across Europe. Travel expenses are billed at cost. For more distant destinations, we review the request on a case-by-case basis.
Yes for most cases. For highly specialised topics (for example medical artificial intelligence, advanced cybersecurity, drug-device combination products), we confirm upfront in the quote whether we are the right answer, or whether referral to a more specialised peer is preferable.
The final assessment determines the certificate of success. In the event of failure, the participant receives a certificate of attendance (rather than of success) and may retake the assessment in a later session (at a reduced fee). We do not certify a skill that has not been acquired.
Yes, and it is in fact common. For example: 'Understanding the MDR' + 'ISO 14971 risk management' + 'Clinical evaluation' over one week for a regulatory affairs team. In this case we build a bespoke pathway.
Yes for certain courses (MDR fundamentals, IVDR fundamentals, EC REP). The in-house quote specifies the availability of an English-speaking trainer depending on the topic and the period.
